When buying ANTIQUES, in particular, especially VALUABLE ITEMS, it is wise to buy from an ACCREDITED DEALER, i.e. someone who offers an Official Receipt. That way you will be covered in the event of any discrepancy.
In the unfortunate, and more rare, event that an item is proven STOLEN, it can be seized and returned to its Official Owner and there will be NO RECOMPENSE or Compensation paid to the unlucky and innocent middle person (buyer) www.davidjpym.com
